Description
| Analysis Note | Cell line virus testing: Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) antibody. |
| Application | Bone marrow cell supplement. Recommended also for hybridoma stimulation and the growth of macrophages for HIV replication. Use at a concentration of 10% in complete medium containing FBS (10%) or CPRS-3. Optimal conditions must be determined for specific applications. |
| Caution | Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. If entire contents are not used, store frozen in working aliquots. Precipitation may occur when stored. This is not detrimental to the product and may be reversed when warmed to 37 °C. |
| Other Notes | Conditioned medium from a cell line derived from a human histiocytoma, Giant Cell Tumor (GCT), grown in IMDM with 5% FBS. |
